Holiday Party
We’re throwing a Holiday Party! On December 21st, we’ll have the very talented Sydnie back to perform modern renditions of holiday favorites. In addition, we’ll have some games where you can win South of Shaw gift cards, and we’ll be doing a steal-the-glass special. So stop by and celebrate the holidays with us!
ArtHop
December 5th is ArtHop, and we have a very special artist gracing the pub walls. Imelda Golik is an educator, lecturer, and the president of Fresno Sister Cities, which promotes relationships between the City of Fresno and our sister cities around the world. Her work is stunning and can be enjoyed and purchased at the pub all month! Come by during ArtHop and say hello!
Beer Specials
We have plenty of great beer news this month! For December, we’ll be putting a new beer on our British hand pump: our ever-popular seasonal smoked porter we are calling “Smoke on the Water.” With notes of chocolate, coffee, and smoky overtones, it’s a delicious treat for a cold winter day.
We are also putting on our Munich Dunkel, “Nights on Broadway,” which is a traditional German dark beer with a smooth, malty flavor and notes of toasted bread and caramel. This beer is perfect as a winter michelada!
Lastly, we have a limited supply of the famous St. Bernardus Christmas Ale on tap, imported from Belgium! This rich, dark ale features complex flavors of dark fruits, caramel, and subtle spices, offering a full-bodied experience with a warm, malty finish—perfect for the winter season!
