It's August. That time of year when the vacations are wrapping up and the kids are headed back to school, the rest of the country is complaining about the heat, and Fresnan's are sitting on the patio sipping a beer because it's only 103°. We have some fun stuff to talk about this month, so let's get to it!
Karaoke!
OK, ya'll, this is something we've been kicking around for a while now, and we're finally doing it! Karaoke night at the pub starts Wednesday, August 9th! We're scheduling it for every other week to start, and our resident superstar Sydnie will be hosting! We've partnered with Singa.com to make for a seamless and fun night. Simply download the app to your phone, connect to us on karaoke night, and request your song! It's going to be a great time, so go warm up those vocal cords!
Oktoberfest Member Pre-Sale
Oktoberfest is right around the corner! We have some great things planned for this year's celebration, which takes place on September 16th (mark your calendars), and we'll be talking about that soon. But our limited-edition 2023 steins have arrived, and 5 Mile Club members can get theirs starting Aug 6th! The rest of ya'll can purchase them starting September 1. Why would you want one? Well, besides the fact that there are only 100 and they are super rad, you also get 24oz fills for the price of 16oz through October 1! We'll have a commemorative t-shirt bundle available as well. Kicks For Kids
This is our second year supporting Kicks for Kids, which is a charity that provides shoes and school supplies for kids in our underprivileged neighborhoods. In addition to the donation box at the pub, we've been letting you guys "round up" your tab to the nearest dollar and donate that change to the charity. We're proud to announce that you guys have given $425 this summer! Way to go, people! So we're kicking in as well, for a grand total of $1700 to the kids of Fresno. Thank you for helping fund this fantastic charity right here in our own backyard.
