We finally got our autumn! It's been beautiful the last few weeks with temps in the 70's and clear skies. Our new patio is getting a lot of use and it's wonderful to see everyone outside enjoying themselves. It's going to be a pretty relaxed month as we head into the holidays but there's a few things I want to share, so read on!
First, we want to thank everyone who came out to our Sister City Celebration with the City of Fresno, the City of Münster Germany, and the Fresno Bicycle Coalition. What a wonderful night to remember! We had been working on our collaboration beer with Finne Brewery for quite a while, and the response to it has been amazing. But having German dignitaries, Fresno city officials, and friends & family hang out together, taste the beer and enjoy our little brewery was beyond rewarding. It was easily the most awesome night we've experienced since we opened the doors. We are looking forward to many more such collaborative events in the future (...did somebody mention Mexico and Japan?).
We're headed into the holidays so you should know that we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day which should not be a surprise to anyone. But we will be open on Black Friday with our normal hours. So if you can't bear to battle the shoppers on the busiest shopping day of the year, come on in to the pub and chill with us. And if you really need to get a gift for that special someone, you can do it from our merchandise selection while sipping a cold beer at the bar.
Speaking of merchandise, we have a bunch of new items for the holidays! We have 3 really fun new shirt designs, and four new colors of our classic brewery shirts. We also have 4 new beanie colors and new red flat billed caps. We even brought in some really cute baby onesies for you new parents and grandparents to spoil your little ones with. There's something for everyone!
Ok, last thing to mention.... you know that everyone loves our micheladas because we make our own special mix every single day. People have been asking us for quite a while to package it so they can enjoy it at home, and now we have! Our original michelada mix is available in 16oz bottles to-go! Grab a bottle and a 32oz Flying Chancla cerveza and you'll be able to make the most delicious South of Shaw micheladas in the comfort of your own home. Perfect for game day, or anytime you're feeling festive!
