Alright, we're a bit late on the newsletter this month. The holidays were a bit nuts, but now we're into the new year, so let's talk about what's happening!
The biggest news is that we are turning two years old! That's right, the doors have been open for two years now, and what an adventure it's been! Our first year was spent really just trying to figure out what we were doing and keep our heads above water! But in our second year, we started to settle in. We nailed down our recipes, we got our processes dialed in, and we made a bunch of really great relationships in the neighborhood. It was a great year! So we're celebrating, and you're invited!
Our birthday party will be on Saturday, January 27th! We'll be partying all day long with:
Free koozies for the first 100 people through the door!
Free cake! Who doesn't love free cake?
Pizza and beer specials! We'll be bringing back the Rustico pizza for the day and our original Punk Rock Red Ale!
We'll have DJs spinning all the best jams from all eras!
So come hang out with us! It's going to be a great time of celebration, and looking forward to 2024!
And speaking of 2024...
Every month this year, we'll be doing a new pizza special! This month we've introduced L’anno nuovo (The New Year), which features our tomato sauce, sliced fresh mozzarella, sweet golden raisins, pine nuts, and crisp arugula. So make sure to drop in regularly to see what we're creating!
We're expanding our local footprint so you can get your favorite South of Shaw beers at more places around town. You can now find us at BJ's Brewhouse in Fashion Fair, Dicicco's on Herndon & West, and Eureka! in Clovis!
Lastly, we are working on new small batch beers, and these will be appearing on the menu as Limited Editions. We recently did a special Coconut Porter and a Cranberry Lemonade Sour that you guys devoured in record time, so check in often for more fun beers hitting the taps.
